   -----For 1-----

   2 oz. uncooked pasta: spaghetti,

   linguini, noodles

   1/2 fresh basil leaves

   1 clove garlic, cmshed

   114 tsp. pine nuts

   2 tbs. olive oil

   1 tbs. freshly grated Parmesan cheese

   -----For 2-----

   4oz. uncooked pasta: spaghetti,

   linguini, noodles

   1 cup fresh basil leaves

   2 clove garlic, cmshed

   1 tbs. pine nuts

   1/4 cup olive oil

   2 tbs. freshly grated Parmesan cheese

 

   Cook pasta as directed on page 84. While pasta is cooking, place remaining ingredients

   in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Toss pesto with hot, well drained

   pasta.
