Fresh fruits make an easy
and nutritious finale to any meal. A basket of colorful fruits can serve as a
centerpiece as well as dessert.
Serve assorted fruits and
cheeses with crackers, nuts and dates. Serve sliced fresh fruits topped with
sour cream and brown sugar,
Sherbet, soft ice cream,
whipped cream, yogurt and honey, frozen yogurt, granola, coconut, raisins,
dates, sliced almonds or walnuts.
Marinate sliced fresh fruit
in wine for a few minutes.
Dip fresh fruit in 6 oz.
Chocolate chips melted with 1/4 cup evaporated milk - chocolate fondue.
Combine 1/4 cup sour cream
with 1 tbs. Brown sugar or honey and 1 tsp. Lemon juice. Use as a dip for
strawberries or grapes.
Drizzle liqueur over fresh
fruit: try orange liqueur over orange slices; amaretto over raspberries or
other berries; cream de menthe over melon balls. Experiment with your favorite
fruits and liqueurs.
