   1 cup flour

   1 1/2 tsp. baking power

   1 1/4 tsp. salt

   3 tbs. butter

   cup milk

 

   Stir flour, baking powder and salt together in a mixing bowl. Cut in butter until mixture

   resembles coarse cornmeal. Add milk and stir lightly. knead gent-ly 12 times. Roll or pat

   dough to 14-inch thickness. Cut into squares or rounds and place on an ungreased baking

   sheet. Bake in a 450-degree oven for 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
